Putlog / Single Scaffolding Coupler connects two 48.3mm tubes at right angles. This fitting is specially designed for connecting board supports (transoms) or putlogs to ledgers in scaffolding and also used in lighting rigs, staging and guard rails. Single couplers can also be used to secure toe boards on a scaffold. This fitting is not designed to be load bearing – use a double if that is what you are looking for.
It is a type of fitting with minimal slip resistance and are most often used to connect the transom tube to the ledger tube, allowing scaffold boards to be laid unimpeded.
